Grow Therapy's Marketplace is designed to assist you in finding the right provider for your requirements and, if relevant, your insurance plan. Using the available filters and fine-tuning your search criteria, you can compile a list of providers ready to deliver quality care tailored to your needs and preferences.
Before you begin
Grow Therapy providers accept a wide variety of health insurance plans, and coverage varies by region. The Cost Estimate tool can help you verify your eligibility. However, suppose you plan to use your insurance benefits for therapy or medication management. In that case, we suggest contacting your insurer to ensure Grow Therapy is in-network before scheduling your initial appointment. Your insurer can also provide details about your anticipated financial responsibility for sessions, including any applicable copay.
How do I contact my insurance company?
Look for a "Member Services" or "Customer Service" number on the back of your insurance card. When you contact your insurance, have your ID number, name, date of birth, and social security number ready to share.

Search the Grow Therapy Marketplace
To begin searching the Grow Therapy Marketplace for an available provider:
Open the Find a Provider directory in a new window or browser tab. By default, Virtual care is selected, as seen below. Select In-person care if you are looking for a provider that offers in-office visits.
Next, select your location, payment type (cash or insurance), and needs (optional) from the drop-down menus and select Search. Don't worry—you can indicate additional preferences in the next step.
If providers are available based on your selected specifications, you'll see a list of therapists on the next page. You can refine your search by interacting with the additional filters in the top navigation.
Select View profile in the provider's preview card to access their full Grow Therapy provider profile.
Select Talk Therapy or Medication Management
If you would like to browse for medication management providers, select Talk Therapy in the search directory's navigation. Then, select Medication Management.
Search by provider name
To find a specific provider, enter their name in the top right corner of the search directory. The provider must meet all the categories you selected in the filters to populate in the list. If you've already spoken to a provider but need help locating them in the directory, request they send you their New Client booking link directly.

Book a free 15-minute phone consultation
🛠️ Feature Notice: The ability to book a free 15-minute consult is limited to a select number of Grow Therapy providers.
A consultation is a 15-minute, non-billable phone conversation, while an appointment is a full-length, billable session. If the provider you'd like to book an appointment with offers free phone consultations, and this feature is enabled:
Locate the "Book session" section on a provider's profile. On a desktop or tablet, you should see a view similar to the one below. On a mobile device, selecting Book session allows you to toggle between the provider's appointment type options.
Select the "Free consult" option and select a time from the provider's available times that works for you. Finally, select Book 15-minute consult and complete your booking by inputting the requested information on the next page.
You'll receive a personalized confirmation email and a calendar event for the consultation. The provider will be given the phone number and email you provided during the booking process. The provider will use this phone number to call you at the scheduled time.
Book a full-length intake appointment
After searching the directory, booking a full-length appointment with a provider should only take a few minutes if you have your insurance and payment information on hand. To book a full-length appointment:
Access the provider's available booking times by selecting View profile or Book session from the directory search results.
On the next page, you will be asked to provide your demographic information, insurance, and payment (if applicable) and acknowledge the policies. Once you have completed this, you will receive a confirmation email. From here, we suggest activating your Client Portal to keep track of your appointments, complete essential paperwork, and contact your provider.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I cannot find a time that works for me with my desired provider?
Try looking at an available time further out on the provider's calendar. Once you book an appointment with a provider, you can contact them using your Client Portal. Send them a message and inquire if an earlier time is possible with their schedule. Otherwise, you can use the filters to search for providers available within 72 hours.
What if I'm having trouble while inputting my insurance?
If you're having trouble inputting your insurance information, double-check that your name is spelled exactly as on your insurance card (including spaces, dashes, and apostrophes) and that your Member ID has no typos. You can always switch to cash pay if your insurance isn't accepted. You can learn more by visiting Understand your insurance coverage.
When will I be charged, and how much will it cost?
Grow Therapy does not charge your card on file until we hear back from your insurance company confirming the amount you are responsible for, typically 3-4 weeks after your appointment. If you're a self-pay client, you can expect a charge 2-3 days after your provider submits your session invoice. You should receive an email summarizing the charges the day before payment is collected.
What if I need to change my appointment time?
If you've booked a full-length appointment, are over 24 hours before the start time, and have accessed your Client Portal, you can independently reschedule it. Otherwise, feel free to reach out to your provider directly for help with adjusting your appointment time. Providers are not obligated to change appointment times with less than 24 hours notice, which is indicated in Grow's cancellation policy.
