Scheduling interpreter services

Learn how to request interpreter services for your therapy sessions at no additional cost.

Grow Therapy offers interpreter services so language doesn't stand in the way of getting the care you need. Through our partner Cyracom, most clients can access interpretation at no cost, including over 35 languages for video sessions and more than 300 languages by phone. If you're a Kaiser Permanente Northern California (KP NorCal) client, your interpreter services are handled directly through Kaiser.

Requesting an interpreter


Kaiser Permanente Northern California clients

If your insurance is through KP NorCal, your interpreter services are handled through Kaiser, not Cyracom. Contact KP NorCal directly to request interpreter support for your session. If you're unsure who to contact, reach out to the member services number on the back of your insurance card.

All other Grow Therapy clients

Contact your provider through the client portal at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Let them know you need an interpreter and specify the language or service (such as ASL).

Your provider will set up the interpretation through Cyracom on their end—you don't need to take any additional steps before the session. During your telehealth appointment, your provider may share their screen so you can see the interpreter, or they may connect the interpreter directly to the call.

🌟 Note: If you're past the 48-hour window or need same-day support, reach out to your provider as soon as possible. While advance notice is strongly preferred, your provider may still be able to assist depending on availability.
