Check the status of credentialing applications

Learn how to check the status of your credentialing applications within your provider portal.

Grow Therapy handles the credentialing process for providers to ensure a seamless experience enrolling with payors. Each payor has unique enrollment requirements, which include a wide range of timelines for becoming in-network. Your provider portal provides a preview of your unique credentialing portal, enabling you to view each payor's application status and take action as needed.


Before you begin


Grow Therapy enrolls providers with all contracted payors relevant to your license type and locations, barring any conflicts of interest. The Enrollment team will email you directly if an application is delayed or additional information or documentation is required to continue the enrollment process.


Active enrollments


When you become in-network with a payor on Grow Therapy, your Credentialing Portal is updated automatically. The payor will appear in the "Active enrollments" section of your Referrals & Payors tab. In this tab, you can adjust your preferences for accepting clients who have this benefit.

To view your active enrollments in your provider portal:

  • Log in to your provider portal.

  • Select your name in the bottom left and select Settings.

  • Under the "Appointments" header, select Referrals & Payors.

  • From the "Payors" section, scroll down to locate "Active enrollments."

  • From here, confirm your preferences by toggling each payor on or off in the "Accepting" column.

🌟 TIP: Choosing to opt out of a payor in your Referrals & Payors settings does not affect your existing clients who have that payor. It means you will no longer be listed in the provider directory as accepting that payor for new clients going forward.

Review active credentialing enrollments in the provider portal

In-progress enrollments


Grow Therapy surfaces your in-progress credentialing enrollments to offer transparency into the timelines of each application. If more information is needed to process an application, you can review the details and make any necessary corrections. To view your in-progress enrollments in your provider portal:

  • Log in to your provider portal.

  • Select your name in the bottom left and select Settings.

  • Under the "Appointments" header, select Referrals & Payors.

  • From the "Payors" section, scroll down to locate "Enrollments in progress."

  • From here, you can check the status, last updated date, and details for every application still in progress. If an enrollment has a "Needs action" status, select View in the "Details" column to display a menu of required actions.

  • Selecting an item from the "Action needed" section of the pop-up menu populates a form to submit and provide the requested documentation to Grow's Credentialing Team.


Frequently Asked Questions


Do I need to request to enroll with a specific payor?

Grow Therapy enrolls you automatically with all available contracted payors unless you encounter any specified restrictions, like residency or licensing requirements.

The only action you need to take is concerning your interest in Medicaid and Medicare enrollment. Confirm your interest in enrolling with these payors using the Medicaid and Medicare enrollment interest form. If you choose to enroll with and see Medicare or Medicaid clients, Grow will automatically enroll you with the Managed Care plans available in your licensed state(s).

Do I have to accept all insurance payors?

No. While offering the most payors can extend your client reach, deciding which payors you'd like to accept in your practice is up to you. You do not have to accept clients from every payor you are in-network with on the Grow Therapy platform. This includes Medicaid and Medicare clients as well.
