Grow Therapy now offers a way to easily update and touch up your profile photo. It’s fast and easy to create a professional-quality profile photo — no photography equipment or editing skills required.

This new feature enhances the visual quality, lighting, background, and even the angle and crop of your profile photo on Grow.

Grow periodically reviews platform-wide image quality to maintain a consistent user experience. We use technical standards, such as resolution, lighting, crop, and background clarity, to identify photos that could benefit from updates.

To access this, navigate to your Profile, and you'll be able to update your existing photo or upload a new one and request this enhancement. You'll get to select the photo that best reflects you.

You always maintain full control over which photo is used for your profile — you choose whether to use the photo updated with AI technology, keep your original, or provide a new photo.

This new feature empowers you to:

Get professional-grade results fast and free. No need for studio shoots or editing. Updating your photo takes minutes, and there’s no additional cost to use this feature, saving hundreds compared to professionally shot and edited photos.
Your natural look, subtly enhanced. Retain the authentic, natural feel of your original photo while leveraging recent AI technology that increases the photo quality clients look for when searching for a provider.
Always in your control. This is optional. You decide which photo is used for your Grow profile. And none of your photos are used to train AI models. Any unused photos are deleted after 60 days.

High-quality photos help clients connect more easily and increase the likelihood they go on to book a session with a provider on Grow.

Why is Grow offering this feature?

Our data shows that providers with professional-quality photos tend to see higher booking rates on our platform and stronger client trust. Our photo updating features use new AI technology to make it simple and fast to achieve that standard at no cost to you. When you update a profile photo with this feature, your photo isn’t used by other vendors, and unused photos are deleted after 60 days.

Even if you’re receiving plenty of intakes now, we’ve consistently found that clients tend not to book with providers who have photos of lower quality or that could be perceived as unprofessional (e.g., selfies, lots of background image, low resolution). This means that clients who are perfect for your practice may be passing you over because of your photo.

Where can I access this photo update? Why don’t I see this feature?

As a new provider, you can access this feature when you upload your photo during the process of creating a profile. This helps set up your new profile.

As an existing provider, you can access this feature by going to your Profile page and then selecting “Touch up photo” below your current photo. Additionally, you can upload a new photo and request enhancements for it.

Do I need to pay for this feature?

No — the AI headshot feature is completely free for Grow Therapy providers. We’ll generate multiple photo options for you to review and choose from, at no cost.

Is it required to update my photo?

You’re always in control of your profile, and using AI-enhanced photos is completely optional.

To help your practice stand out, we encourage providers to ensure their photos are high-resolution and professional. If you choose not to use the free Enhanced Photos feature, consider uploading a new high-quality photo to maintain visibility and stand out to clients.

What if I don’t like any of the AI-enhanced photos?

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your privacy and data security are of the utmost importance to us. Grow Therapy uses your image only to generate photo options for your review. Your photo is not stored by AI vendors or used to train external AI models, and any unused AI-generated images are deleted within 60 days.

What if the AI-enhanced photos don’t look like me?'

AI tools can occasionally produce results that feel slightly off. That’s why we generate multiple options — so you can choose the one that feels most authentic to you.
