How to add a secondary verification method
To add another form of verification:
Log in to your client portal.
Select Account from the left navigation menu.
Select the ⚙️Settings tab.
Select the Edit button.
You will be prompted to verify your identity before making any changes. Select the Continue option.
Enter the 6-digit code provided by phone or authenticator app and select Continue. You'll automatically return to the account settings dashboard.
In the "2-Step Verification" section, select the Add option and select Phone number or Authenticator app. To complete those unique processes, follow the steps below.
Steps to add a secondary phone number
To add a phone number:
Select Phone number from the drop-down menu.
Enter the phone number you would like to add.
Select your communication method of Text message or Voice call.
Select Send code.
Enter the 6-digit verification code in the field.
Select Confirm enrollment.
You should see two numbers listed and a pop-up confirmation message at the bottom of the screen.
Steps to add an authenticator app
To add an authenticator app:
Select Authenticator app from the drop-down menu.
Open your preferred authenticator app.
Scan the QR code displayed in the pop-up message using your authenticator app or manually enter the secret key. Your app will then generate a 6-digit OTP code.
Enter the OTP code into the code section of the pop-up message and select Continue.
Once the authenticator app has been successfully added, it will be listed, and a confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen.
