Update your insurance information

Learn how to update your insurance information in your client portal.

Keeping your insurance information up to date in your client portal helps avoid claim denials, unexpected costs, and billing delays, so your care experience stays as smooth as possible.

Key Points

  • You can update and verify your insurance information directly in your client dashboard by navigating to Account → My coverage → Edit, entering your new details, verifying coverage, and saving the changes.

  • Your updated insurance will apply to all future appointments.

  • If a new plan isn’t accepted by a booked provider, you may need to switch to cash pay or cancel those sessions.

  • Member IDs are blurred for privacy, and changing insurance may affect your payments (e.g., you may need to meet a new deductible).

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see my member ID? Grow Therapy blurs Member IDs to protect your privacy. Only Grow Therapy and your insurance company can access your full Member ID; your providers and anyone else with portal access cannot view it. This helps prevent potential exposure of personal health information (PHI) and ensures a consistent, secure experience across the platform.

How does editing my insurance information affect my payments? When switching insurance or updating to a different plan, you may have to meet a new deductible to see lower costs kick in. If you are unsure how much your deductible is, contact your insurance provider directly.
