If a client contacts you directly for insurance verification or cost estimates, directing them to the following resources can help prevent unnecessary delays in scheduling initial or ongoing sessions.
Cost estimator
Note: The cost estimator tool is not unique to your practice. To accept a client's insurance plan, you must be in-network with their insurance provider through Grow Therapy. If you need more clarification, contact support.
The cost estimator tool helps clients verify their insurance is currently accepted at Grow Therapy and obtain estimated visit costs. You can send clients a direct link to the cost estimator or complete it on their behalf.
To complete an estimate on behalf of a client using the cost estimator, you'll need the following information from the client:
First and last name as it appears on their insurance card
Date of birth
State of residence
Insurance type
Member ID
Additional options
If your client experiences issues using the tool or wishes to confirm their estimated costs, please direct them to seek support through one of the methods below.
Insurance member services
Encourage clients to speak directly with their insurance provider's member services. They can clarify the details of their plan and verify any out-of-pocket costs they may incur for their sessions. Clients should ask the representative for a cost estimate for an outpatient mental health office visit or a telehealth session.
Clients will need to provide the following information to the member services agent:
Legal name
Date of birth
Member ID

New clients looking to verify that Grow Therapy accepts their insurance can contact the Billing Support team by filling out the Contact Us form. Once connected with an agent, they will be asked to provide photos of the front and back of their insurance card.
