Frequently asked questions
What personal information can I update on my own? You can update your chosen first name, pronouns, phone number, residential address, and email address (once) directly in the client portal under Account β About Me.
Why can't I edit my legal name, date of birth, or gender? These fields require identity verification to prevent billing and insurance disruptions. Contact our Support Team and they'll walk you through the update process.
What happens if I need to change my email more than once? The portal only allows one self-serve email change. For any additional updates, reach out to the Support Team directly.
Why does my address need to reflect where I receive care? Telehealth is regulated at the state level, so your provider must be licensed in the state where you're located during sessions. If you move β even temporarily β updating your address and notifying your provider helps ensure there's no interruption to your care.
I updated my information but it doesn't look right. What should I do? If your changes didn't save correctly, try refreshing the page and repeating the steps. If the issue persists, contact Support for help.
