Frequently Asked Questions
Overview
What kind of CEUs are included? - Qualifying providers can access CEU libraries from various partners, each with options for different focus areas.
PESI: A curated library of 150 CEUs with courses in mental health, clinical interventions, pharmacology, and practice management.
Violet: CEUs focused on cultural competency and LGBTQ+ affirming care.
Triad: Measurement-informed care (MIC) course available for 1 CEU credit.
These CEUs are free of charge to providers who meet eligibility criteria.
Why are we offering free CEUs? - At Grow Therapy, we are invested in you! We know you provide thoughtful care to clients. This benefit is an opportunity to enhance your clinical skillset across modalities and populations while attending to licensure renewal requirements. We carefully selected CEU partners that had a variety of offerings for both therapists and prescribers.
When reviewing the courses, we invite providers to verify that they are accredited by the respective board governing your license.
How to qualify
Who is this benefit for? - The courses are available for Grow Therapy prescribers and therapists who have submitted an invoice in the last 30 days. Updated rosters are provided to our CEU partners at the beginning of each month, with access updates completed by the end of each month. For example, if you submitted an invoice in September, you will gain access by the end of October.
Am I required to use this benefit? - No. Grow Therapy does not require providers to obtain CEUs through the options provided but does require that they maintain their licensure based on state requirements.
If I can access a partner (e.g., Violet) through another company, will I need to set up another account? - If you already have access through another company, you can continue using your existing account—you don't need to create a new one through Grow Therapy, as the content remains the same. If you lose access to your existing account, you can set up a new one using Grow Therapy credentials.
Data & Privacy
What data is shared with PESI and Violet? - Grow Therapy shares the NPI numbers, first name, last name, and email of contracted providers who meet eligibility criteria. This information is updated and transferred monthly to reflect current eligible providers.
Where do I find my NPI number? - If you don’t already know your NPI number, you can find it by searching the free NPPES NPI Registry.
What data is shared with Grow Therapy about CEU completion or access? - Grow Therapy will receive information from our CEU vendors that show the utilization of the CEUs available. This includes licensure type, NPI, location, and course completion. Grow Therapy will use this to help inform CEU selection. For example, we may see how many providers are accessing a training selected in the PESI library to evaluate how often the CEU is completed and whether it may be beneficial to switch it to another offering.

Tracking & Applying CEUs
Will Grow Therapy track my CEUs for me? - It is the responsibility of providers to track completed CEUs and to ensure they complete CEUs to meet state CEU requirements to maintain licensure.
If I leave Grow Therapy, can I take the CEUs I earned through Grow with me? - Yes. If a provider leaves Grow Therapy, any CEUs earned remain theirs. It is the provider's responsibility to keep and manage their CEU certificates.
Can I request Grow Therapy to pay for a CEU that isn’t offered? - Grow Therapy does not cover the cost of CEUs outside of those specifically offered through our partners. Additionally, any costs associated with certifications offered through Evergreen, a subset of PESI, are the provider's responsibility.
Will there be live CEU options to satisfy my state requirement? - Each quarter, both PESI and Violet offer a live CEU option. This can go towards the requirement for a “live” CEU course. All other content is self-paced.
