Data - learn how your data is securely managed.

Who has access to the data from the session?

  • Your provider will have access to your session data to ensure the accuracy of session summaries. Additionally, the Clinical Excellence team at Grow may have access to session data for quality assurance purposes.

How is the data from my session summaries stored?

  • The raw data from sessions is encrypted and stored for the duration of time necessary for generating session summaries. Both the session data and AI-enabled summary are stored until the provider is able to review and approve the after-visit summary (AVS) and notes suggestions - for a maximum of 30 days. If a provider approves, the approved AVS and notes are stored as part of the medical record.

What technology provider is Grow Therapy using to develop AI-enabled summaries?

  • Grow is partnering with OpenAI to create AI-enabled summaries.

Is Grow Therapy using the data from my session summaries to train AI models?

  • No, Grow Therapy is not using session data to train AI-enabled summarization models.

Is my personally identifiable information (PII) being shared with OpenAI or any third-party vendor?

  • No. Grow Therapy has a zero data retention agreement with OpenAI that ensures OpenAI does not retain any of your data.

Can I delete my data?

  • You can request that Grow Therapy delete your data. After the request, Grow will delete personal data where possible, but note that some data must be retained for legal, security, and business purposes.

Am I required to enable AI-enabled summaries?

Can my provider or I use another AI note-taking tool?

  • No. Grow sets a high bar for security and data integrity to protect your personal data. We developed our technology for AI-enabled summaries to ensure our security standards are met.
