Grow Therapy's Telehealth feature offers an increasing number of features designed to enhance the in-session experience. One such feature is the whiteboard, which enables providers to create and share custom visuals with clients. Whiteboard activities can benefit younger demographics, visual learners, and those who have trouble expressing themselves verbally during a session.
The basics
Do I need to enable this feature in my provider portal settings? - No, you do not need to adjust any settings. Once you invite your client into your Grow Telehealth meeting room, simply select the whiteboard icon to start using the feature.
Can I use the whiteboard before my client enters the Telehealth room? - Not at this time. The only way to access the whiteboard is to admit the client to the meeting room.
Do I need to erase or refresh the whiteboard between sessions? - No. Whiteboards are temporary and do not save between clients or appointments. However, you can download any version of the whiteboard you create before the session concludes.
If I close the whiteboard during a session, will I lose my design? - No, closing the whiteboard during a session does not delete the design. You can toggle the feature on and off without fear of losing your whiteboard.
Can my client and I use the whiteboard at the same time? - Yes. Once the provider enables a feature during a live session, both parties can access the whiteboard's features.
