As a Grow Therapy provider, once you become credentialed in any of the states listed below, you will automatically be enrolled with the corresponding payors unless you encounter any specified restrictions, like residency or licensing requirements. Explore state and payor details below for more information on how this affects your unique credentialing options with Grow.
Medicare and Medicaid
To enroll with any Medicare or Medicaid payors, your Medicare and/or Medicaid enrollment preferences must be set to "Yes." You can update your preferences by completing this form. Once you confirm your interest, you will first be enrolled with state Medicare and/or Medicaid. After that, our credentialing team will enroll you with the relevant payors.
⚠️ Note: Grow does not allow providers to bill directly with Medicare or Medicaid. Instead, we work with Managed Care plans, which require separate enrollment processes from the state. If you choose to enroll with and see Medicare or Medicaid clients, Grow automatically enrolls you with the Managed Care plans available in your licensed state(s).
Medicaid availability by state

For individual plans, please refer to the state-specific information below.
*Florida Medicaid enrollment is currently on hold due to a recent policy change on Florida Medicaid's end. We’re actively working to resolve the issue, and updates will be sent out to our Florida providers as more information becomes available.

National contracts and sub-payors
Grow Therapy has national contracts with Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare/Optum. National payor partners, such as United Healthcare, have sub-plans listed individually on your Grow provider profile. To learn more about these sub-payors, refer to the lists below.

Residency requirements
Grow Therapy recommends providers use their state of residence as their primary state to optimize the credentialing process. However, providers can have Grow Therapy set their primary state to any of Grow's fully operational states listed here.
When considering a primary state, it's essential to be aware that many payors have residency requirements, meaning the provider must reside in the state where they are credentialed. One example of a payor that frequently implements these requirements is Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).
