Update insurance information in the iOS mobile app

Update your insurance details directly from the Grow Therapy mobile app.

If your insurance coverage has changed, it’s important to update your plan details before your next session to avoid any disruption to your care. This guide walks you through updating your insurance information in the Grow Therapy iOS mobile app.

🛠️ Feature notice: The iOS app is not available to minors, clients with Kaiser insurance, or clients residing in Illinois or Nevada.

  • You can update your insurance details at any time through the Coverage tab of your account.

  • After entering your new insurance information, you'll have the option to verify your coverage before saving.

  • If your new insurance plan isn't accepted by a provider you have a future appointment with, you'll be prompted to switch to self-pay or cancel that appointment.

  • Your updated coverage will be reflected in your account details once saved.


Update your insurance information


⚠️ Important: Changing your insurance plan may affect your out-of-pocket costs. For example, you may need to meet a new deductible before your coverage applies. Refer to the Insurance Coverage FAQ article for more information.

Follow these steps to update your insurance details using the mobile app:

  • Tap Log in on the Grow Therapy mobile app on your iOS device.

  • Select your preferred login method from the options listed.

  • Tap the ☰ navigation menu in the top-left corner of your screen.

  • Select Account from the menu.

  • Tap Coverage.

  • Tap the ✏️ pencil icon in the top right.

  • Select your new insurance provider from the drop-down menu, and enter the member ID associated with your plan.

  • To confirm your plan is active and accepted, tap Verify coverage.

  • Tap Save to apply your changes. Your new insurance coverage will be reflected in your account details.

🔒 Member ID privacy: For your security, your Member ID is blurred by default in the app. This is expected — it doesn't indicate an error with your information.

If your new plan isn't accepted by a provider


If the insurance plan you entered isn't accepted by a provider you have a future appointment with, you'll be prompted to either switch to self-pay (cash pay) for those appointments or find a new provider who accepts your updated insurance. You can search for in-network providers on the Grow Therapy website by selecting your new insurance plan during the provider search.
