Grow Therapy’s between-session reflections feature enables clients to focus on topics they want to reflect on after the session, between sessions, and on the day of the session. These features support clients in achieving their goals while enabling providers to arrive at sessions with a deeper understanding and clarity about client needs.

⚠️ Feature note: Between-session reflections are optional and not available to minor clients.
Clients are sent their first set of reflections after the intake appointment. Once clients start the session topic experience, they use prompts and journaling afterward to focus on what’s top of mind.
Clients can completely control the topics they share and review past topics, allowing them to track their previous concerns and actively participate in their care. Clients can also remove or modify the suggested topics as needed.
Provider portal experience
Providers can preview a list of upcoming appointments on their Dashboard under the "Upcoming" section. Selecting an appointment from this section populates a menu of client information, client activity, and the client's measures and forms. Toggle between the tabs to view this information in detail.
In-session experience
The Grow Telehealth meeting room allows both the provider and the client to view topics that the client has shared.
Provider experience
Providers can view the topics shared by accessing the client information card from the Telehealth navigation bar and selecting the Client Activity tab.
Client experience
Clients are prompted to review or modify their discussion topics while they’re in the Grow Telehealth waiting room.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)
Will I see the client's topics starting with the first appointment?
No. Clients are not sent between-session reflections until they have completed their first intake appointment.
How are clients prompted to complete these reflections?
Clients receive email notifications as well as text messages when enabled.
How often are clients receiving reminders to complete their reflections?
Clients will receive reminders to complete their reflections 5 days before an appointment and again 24 hours prior if they have not been finished.
Do my clients have to use this feature?
No. This feature is entirely optional. Clients can learn more here.
Is this feature available for in-person clients?
Yes. This feature is available to all clients, regardless of their appointment location, excluding minors.
Can I turn this feature off for my clients?
No. This feature cannot be toggled on or off.
