Grow Therapy’s pre-session reflections feature enables clients to focus on topics they want to reflect on after the session, between sessions, and on the day of the session. These features support clients in achieving their goals while allowing providers to arrive at sessions with deeper context and clarity about client needs.

⚠️ Feature note: Pre-session reflections are not available to minor clients.
Clients are sent their first set of reflections post-intake appointment. Once clients start the session topics experience, they use prompts and journaling afterwards to focus on what’s top of mind.
Clients can fully control the topics they share and review past topics, enabling them to monitor their previous concerns and actively engage in their care.
Provider portal experience
Providers can preview a list of upcoming appointments and action items for the day on their Dashboard under the "upcoming today" section. Selecting an appointment from this section populates a menu of client information, session topics, and the client's measures and forms.
In-session experience
The Grow Telehealth meeting room allows both the provider and the client to view topics that the client has shared.
Provider experience
Providers can view the topics shared by accessing the client information card from the Telehealth navigation bar and selecting the Overview tab.
Client experience
Clients are prompted to review or modify their discussion topics while they’re in the Grow Telehealth waiting room.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)
Will I see the client's topics starting with the first appointment?
No. Clients are not sent pre-session reflections until they have completed their first intake appointment.
How are clients prompted to complete these reflections?
Clients receive email notifications as well as text messages when enabled.
How often are clients receiving reminders to complete their reflections?
Clients will get reminders to finish their reflections 5 days before an appointment and again 24 hours before if they are not completed.
Do my clients have to use this feature?
No. This feature is entirely optional. Clients can learn more here.
Can I turn this feature off for my clients?
No. This feature cannot be toggled on or off.
