When you're experiencing difficulties with your browser processing or displaying information on specific sites, clearing your browser cookies and cache is a great place to start troubleshooting. By erasing both, we aim to refresh the browser's memory and start from scratch without any "problematic" saved information.
⭐️ TIP: The Grow Therapy platform works best with the Google Chrome browser. It's also helpful to update your browser to the most current version.
Clear your cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your computer whenever you visit a website. They make web pages load quicker, and websites remember your passwords and settings. However, cookies might also store outdated or incorrect data, which can make it difficult to load an updated version of a site. Clearing the cookies saved in your browser in their entirety or for the affected site will typically resolve these issues.
The process for clearing your cookies is different for each browser. Grow Therapy recommends Google Chrome, so we've provided a walkthrough for that browser here. Alternatively, learn how to clear your cookies in the following browsers using their documentation:

Clear your browser cache
Browsers keep local copies of website data to load those websites more quickly in the future - these are known as your browser's cache. When you experience an issue that is not occurring on other browsers or computers, the source of that issue may lie in your browser's cache. Clearing the cache will typically resolve these issues.

Note: After clearing your cache, restart your browser to ensure it is completely cleared.
Google Chrome example
To clear your cookies and/or cache in Google Chrome:
Open Chrome and select the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.
Select the Clear Browsing Data option. Chrome will open a new tab so you can make your selections.
Select All Time from the "Time Range" drop-down menu to give yourself the most comprehensive chance of clearing problematic data. Alternatively, start by choosing small increments and increase the timeframe if the problem persists.
Select the Clear Data button.
From here, your cookies and cache will be cleared. Log back into your Provider Portal. If you continue to experience difficulties or have further questions, please contact support using the chat feature in the lower right corner of your portal.
