A notification about the new calendar integration will populate on the screen. Select Upgrade calendar sync to continue.
Next, select your calendar's service brand. If you're syncing an Apple calendar, please review these additional instructions.
On the subsequent screen, select which email address is associated with your calendar and grant Grow Therapy Calendar Sync permission to read and write to this calendar.

Finally, select Continue. Your calendar(s) should now sync using the new integration.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Grow use my calendar for?
Grow Therapy utilizes your connected calendar to monitor your availability, ensuring clients can only book appointments when you are genuinely free. The integration can check your busy and available slots by syncing with your external calendars (such as Google or Apple), preventing any double bookings. Additionally, Grow will update your external calendar with new appointments from Grow Therapy. It's important to note that Grow only processes your event's start and end times and does not access any other details from your calendar.
Why am I being asked to re-sync my calendar?
The product team is transitioning to a new calendar synchronization provider, Nylas, on a rollout basis. This change aims to enhance scheduling reliability and minimize booking issues. To ensure your availability accurately reflects on Grow, please re-sync your calendar when you receive a reminder. This one-time step will help prevent scheduling errors and update your appointments across all platforms.
I'm having trouble syncing my Apple calendar.
To sync your Apple calendar, you must create an app-specific password. Your regular Apple account password will not work. The steps to complete this process are here.
What is Cronofy?
Cronofy was Grow Therapy's previous calendar sync provider, responsible for managing external calendar connections and syncing appointments. As we continue building additional scheduling features, we are transitioning away from Cronofy due to its performance and support limitations to provide a more reliable experience.
What is Nylas?
Nylas has been selected as the new calendar sync provider to offer a more reliable and effective calendar integration experience. Nylas delivers superior support and a more stable syncing platform, helping us reduce scheduling errors and missed appointments.
What if I want to avoid making the switch?
Transitioning to Nylas is important for ensuring smooth and accurate scheduling, and we understand that you may have concerns. Our team is here to assist you during the resynchronization process to minimize any disruptions. If you decide not to switch, you may experience ongoing scheduling issues. We encourage you to contact the Support team for help in making this transition as seamless as possible.
