Session insights utilize Grow’s AI Summarization to generate concise summaries of each session’s main takeaways and follow-up plan. These insights include the provider's name, the appointment date, a short message, a summary of the established plan, an overview of the session's discussion, and helpful links to schedule a follow-up appointment if needed.

Enabling, reviewing, & sending insights
How do I enable session insights?
To enable session insights, the following must be true:
You are using Grow Telehealth for your session
You and your client are both opted into AI transcription, and transcription was enabled for the session
Can I disable session insights?
This feature cannot be disabled. When the AI-enabled summary technology is enabled in your settings, a session insight will automatically be generated. You don't have to use the insights or choose to send them to clients if you don't wish to.
Where can I access the session insights?
The session insight is accessible through the notes documentation flow. You can view it while you're creating your progress and intake notes. Between sessions, you can access the session insights from the client's chart.
What's included in the session insights?
The session insights include the provider's name and the appointment date, a brief message, a summary of the established plan, a summary of the session's discussion, and helpful links to schedule a follow-up appointment if necessary.
How do I edit a session insight?
Once you submit your note and choose to send it to your client, you can edit the session insight. You are prompted to approve the session insight before sending it to your client, as seen in the example below.
How do I share a session insight?
You can share a session insight in two ways: during the documentation and invoicing process, or from the client’s "timeline" within their chart.
To share a session insight during the documentation process:
Complete your documentation and continue to invoice as you normally would. You will be prompted to review and send the session insight.
To share a session insight from the client’s chart:
Select Clients from the sidebar. Search for and select the client's name to open their chart.
Ensure the Overview tab is selected beneath their name.
Locate the “Timeline” section, where a session insight notification will be populated when the summary is ready to be reviewed and shared.

What do I tell my clients if they have questions about session insights?

What if a poor session insight is generated?
After you submit your invoice, you can provide feedback directly on the platform to the Grow product team or contact support via the Help Widget in the provider portal to share additional feedback.
Will this session insight be sent without my review?
No, we do not send session insights to clients without explicit review and approval from providers.
What do session insights look like on my client's end?
Clients receive an email and a text message with a link to session insights in their secure client portal. Session insights are also available in the therapy toolkit section of the client-facing iOS mobile app.
Can I send session insight to a different client email address?
No. You can only send the session insight to the email address on file.
Can I send a session insight to a minor client?
No. Session insights can not be sent to clients under 18.
