Grow AI integrates with Grow Telehealth and your Grow provider portal to assist with routine administrative tasks like session summaries and note-taking. Utilizing these features allows you to focus on client care. According to preliminary data, providers using these features experience a 57% reduction in time spent on notes.
The Grow product team is currently testing the AI summarization features on intake notes and all sections of progress notes, including suggestions for structured fields. Learn more about these beta features below.
What's new with this update?
Intake notes
AI suggestions are expanding beyond progress notes to include intake notes. Here are a couple of key points regarding this update affecting intake notes:
AI Summarizations will not overwrite any pre-filled fields automatically generated by the client, provided in their intake form.
AI summarization will pre-fill if a client did not complete an intake form.
AI Summarizations and suggestions for all fields
With this update, Grow's AI summarization will generate summaries for all note fields, including structured fields like checkboxes. This will allow you to save more time during documentation. Previously, this feature only summarized open text fields.
Pre-filled AI suggestions
How will the AI suggestions be indicated in the notes?
Pre-filled AI suggestions based on the session transcript will be indicated by a purple ✨ icon, as seen below.
Please note that this technology may make errors and is not a replacement for your clinical judgment. Before you finalize your documentation, you must confirm that you have reviewed the AI-generated suggestions for accuracy and completeness.
Can I make changes to the note fields if needed?
Yes! You still have complete control over the content and selections of each field.
Troubleshooting
In certain situations, the pre-filled AI suggestions might not be accessible during your documentation process. These situations include:
There's not enough session information in the transcript to complete the field.
The system experienced a transcript processing error.
You are completing the Treatment plan portion of the note. Treatment plans are not AI-generated and need to be completed manually.
